1. How to I start the repair bot?
A.Click on the Extra first and then the little robot icon. You need to be standing still and not shooting. You can purchase the automatic repair bot card, which will start the robot by itself when you can not moving and fighting. See below

3. How do minerals work?
You can click on the lab tab in your browser ( you do not need to go to the base). The screen below will open. Once you have refined some, you can click on Update to move the minerals into the weapon/engine/shield slot by dragging it there. This will give you a bonus on each of the items.

4. Drones damage
It will take a lot of dying for you to need to repair them. It’s not a ship. I have died 8 times already and my drones’ damage is at around 15%, so no worries.

5. Drones, which ones
I would recommend the Iris (Uridium drone) simply because they have two slots instead of one. You are only allow 8 drones, so 8 times 2 = 16 slots, instead of only 8 slots. This will pay off in term of firepower once you have install them with lasers. If you had credit drones only you will be at a disadvantage. Engines can not be install on them.

6. Configuration
For me One is for fighting and doing max damage. I installed lasers on all of my drone slots and shields on all my engine lots.
Number two is for speed, to run away when I am facing a stronger player. Engines on all engine slots and shields on all drone slot

7. How can you get Uridium fast?
Buy it. The company that owns Dark Orbit makes it very tough to get a lot of Uridium fast. This is there revenue stream. If a player is hoping to get Uridium they can do the following
-collect bonus boxes ( uridium is in 1/10 maybe). The most would be 100, but more commonly 20 or 50 uri
-kill aliens, which is a catch 22. since a new player has lower and few lasers, it is tough to kill aliens. the 1st level aliens give only 1 uri per kill.
-Do quests ( new players will get stuck at the Lordakia quests because it will require a big ship and more shielding, otherwise you will get kill and then you will have to start over.
-join a clan and ask for it. Tough, advance players will hand out credits no problem, but rarely will they had out Uridium. Although, it does happen, so do let me discourage you from asking. Worst case you will get a no. It never hurts to ask.
